A day out from the NFL Draft and here are a few headlines to consider involving the West Coast teams we follow or hate:

RAMS..Multiple choice question, drafting late in first round.  Spend that pick on a QB for the future?  Draft an OT-OG?  Select a WR for depth and insurance policy for the Puka Nacua situation?  They have done well in the draft in recent years.  Need to get right player in early rounds.

CHARGERS..Did not do enough in free agency with all the money they had to spend, in fact the roster is worse now than the one that lost in the playoffs after losing a starting OG and a strong pass rusher.  Solution, take the right OT you can move into an OG spot with the 22nd pick, since virtually all the strong pass rushers will be off the board.  But don’t know what type of guy, maybe a DT, might be there at 55-in second round.

49ERS..Not going to say rebuild, but so many injuries on this roster, they need to hit the jackpot with picks.  Am surprised they still own WR-Brandon Aiyuk, not because they love him, maybe nobody wants his baggage and attitude.  GM-John Lynch has to work some magic.

RAIDERS..So we wait and see if Fernando Mendoza is game changing QB or a QB-manager.  Of course Kirk Cousins will be your starter and will be big upgrade over a long troubling spot on the roster.  Can they get the right quality OT in the second round?  What else do they do with other picks they have in their pocket?  Still to be determined, with what the big dollars they spent on all those free agents on defense, did they get the right guys who make them better?
