SPURS-THUNDER….Oklahoma City may have been (72-14) this year, but they are no longer perfect in post season and they may no longer be invincible.  They got beat at their own game on Monday night, taken apart by San Antonio’s defense.  Pick any of the stats and it was colored Black & Silver (Spurs colors).  Victor Wemenyama goes for (41P-24R) and was everywhere making shots and blocking them too.  Who would think anyone could lock down Shai Gilegous-Alexander, who went (7-for-23) shooting.  And then there was the rebound story.  The Spurs got 60-of them to 41-for OKC.  Only one game, I know, but San Antonio was on their body and has to be in the Thunder’s head going to game two.

KNICKS-CAVALIERS…Some night for the madhouse fans at Madison Square Garden, super fan Spike Lee included.  What a comeback.  What a collapse.  Cleveland hits 15-3’s in the game, built a 24-point lead, and let New York back in it. seeing a near victory evaporate in a 7-minute span at the end of the night.    The Knicks came from behind to tie in the 4th quarter, then reeled off a (14-3) burst in overtime to win the first game of their series.  Jalen Brunson goes off for (38P) in the win.  Donovan Mitchell disappeared in the second half and got no help at all.  Devastating loss for the Cavs.  Explosive comeback by the Knicks.  Yes one game, but one that Cleveland choked away.
