Looking at my College Football Notebook from the weekend:

AZTECS..Poor start, then Chunk plays rest of the way..Lopsided win against a (1-11) Portland State team…Big plays everywhere-but that is what you are supposed to do…Need to play better next week at UCLA

USC..Yay…Trojans move to the top of the Group-of-6 poll after beating San Jose State-Fresno State…Seriously-play somebody…but they are explosive Jayden Maiava and a trophy case of wide receivers and running backs looks great.  Next week..Louisiana…no not LSU…and patty cake.

UCLA..Got better and better as the night went on in emotional win in Cal…Big package of running backs (277Y)-6TD rushing…Nico Iamaleava throwing downfield, and a defense that forced 3-turnovers..Great start for Bob Chesny.

USD..Tough start for Brandon Moore getting pasted by UC-Davis, a strong 1AA team.

OHIO STATE..Julian Sayin (320P-3TD) and Jeremiah Smith (8R-151) says it all

OREGON..Dante Moore exploded (388P-3TD) but defense has to get better

GEORGIA..Wow (660Y) offense around Gunnar Stockton

NOTRE DAME..CJ Carr is bright light for Marcus Freeman
