Hard to believe what I see at this hour in sports:

DODGERS…Blame game everywhere if this ends badly.  Yes the Shohei Ohtani injury has alot to do with it…1-home run in 99-at bats dating back to August…A Dodgers team hitting (.164) batting average against the Brewers….and a (.125) average with runners in scoring position…And LA runners stranded at third base in the series-astonishing…Point a finger too to the starting rotation…Tyler Glasnow failed as did Blake Snell, Yosh Yamamoto…The 4-starters in the 4-playoff games vs the Brewers (18inn-13 runs-16 hits-8 walks)..that’s a 6.50-ERA to you…Burned out-beat up-season over.

BREWERS..They wear you out, this batting order..Everybody with key hits…home runs..balls in play..a bunch of guys from stars like Chourio-Contreras to journeymen like Bauers..and what battlers on the mound beyond Misiorowski to a bullpen brigade, led by Aaron Ashby,  that was brilliant…And Pat Murphy-what a button pushing successful-even keel manager. for the Brew Crew.

CLEVELAND..Gavin Williams is something…so is the Tribe bullpen…and that batting order-can you name anyone beyond Jose Ramirez in the lineup?

TAMPA BAY..Do not count out these Rays..They survived the rugged AL East, you know-the Yankees-Red Sox rivalries…and much like Cleveland, beyond slugger Junior Caminero-who are these guys still playing?

CHARGERS…Head txo Kansas City on Sunday in disarray…They won’t go (1-15) like the Ryan Leaf year, but they could well be (0-9) soon…The demise of the confidence of QB-Justin Herbert is staggering…The people responsible for this, Jim Harbaugh and Mike McDaniel should lost their job if this thing gets to (0-9) in a couple of weeksLookat these offensive stats for the Bolts (#25) offense..(#26) third downs..(#30) passing..(#31) sacks…(#32) turnovers…How’s that look on some coaching resume…..As for the Chiefs, ane explosive start with virtually every facet of the offense hitting on all cylinders (412YPG) when they have the ball.

RAMS..A fireworks display (424YPG) with Matthew Stafford at the controls, and Davante Adams-Puka Nacua have hardly been on the filed together this year…The defense has yet to see Myles Garrett and Aaron David together yet…and that’s why their are (2-3)…It is odd for all the boxes Sean McVay checks off on his resume, his special teams have been deplorable (81) missed field goals or PAT kicks since he’s been head coach…Not sure we have seen the best yet from LA.

OHIO STATE-INDIANA..Big game on Big Saturday in the Big 10…Buckeyes have a historical record of (31-1-1) against the Hoosiers..but Curt Cignetti got IU the first ever win dating to 1945 against OSU.

BRIGHAM YOUNG-NOTRE DAME..A Holy War in Provo on the weekend..What a QB matchup, the vastly under-rated QB-CJ Carr leads the Irish against do everything Cougars QB-Bear Bachemeir.

UCLA-WISCONSIN..A likely defensive war with Bruins QB-Nico Iamaleava gone for the year with a quad injury..the Badgers have QB problems and a problem against the tough guy Bruins defense..Might be a field goal kicking contest.
