Here-There-Everywhere around the NFL:

CHARGERS…The offensive front remains a problem with the loss of starting OC-Tyler Biadasz.  It means playing two rookies, Jake Slaughter and Jacob Spoemer infront of QB-Justin Herbert.  The OG jobs are still an issue too, now trying #1 draft pick washout Cole Strange and journeyman tackle turned guard Trey Pipkens inside.  They have problems.

RAIDERS..QB-Fernando Mendoza now is facing reality-everything around him is poor quality on that offense.  The leaky offensive line.  No trust worthy big time WRs.  And a defense that got shoved around alot last weekend.  The Silver and Black may have the top college QB, last year’s top college running back (Jeanty) and the great TE-(Bowers) but they don’t have much else.

CLEVELAND..What a mess.  Deshaun Watson’s health, the (127M) cap figure on his contract, his injury history and his attitude.  And they name him the starting QB for the season.  Wonder how far along we go before Shedeur Sanders, no guarantee he can win, winds up with the job.  What a rotten season, and atmosphere in Cleveland.

MIAMI..This looks like a misery filled season.  They spent money on free agent QB-Malik Willis and thru all the OTA workouts and off season and now preseason, they threw for (53Y) in this past weekend’s game.  Don’t know how they win many games this year.

STEELERS…They have Aaron Rodgers, and now they plan on keeping 4-active roster QBs because they fear losing rookie Drew Allar if they tried to sneak him thru waivers onto the Developmental squad.  So Mason Rudolph and Will Howard stay too.

BUFFALO…The toughest of times.  Popular Ed Oliver-DT, out of camp for extended period.  Now we find out his 2-year old son drowned in Florida while he was at camp.  An awful story for a fine player and a standup person.

GIANTS…Somebody should be concerned, because he does not think it is a problem.  QB-Jaxson Dart has been suffering from big hits, concussions last year, and worries this year again, putting him in the blue tent multiple times.

RAMS…Sitting and waiting for Aaron Donald’s decision..play and how much at DT?  While they wait, LA landed veteran Pro Bowler CB-Stephen Gilmour, the ex Patriot-Buffalo Bills veteran.

49ERS…Injuries, injuries, Injuries.  It seems non stop.  Then the Kyle Shanahan auto accident.  The unresolved crisis with Brandon Aiyuk.  And now the prostitution arrest of owner Jed York.  What a mess.

HOUSTON…A very good career with alot of setbacks along the way.  Now RB-Nick Chubb has decided to retired.  Bad injury in college. Bad injury in the Cleveland.  Bad injury in Houston.  3-knee injuries all.  In between all that, over (7300Y-54TD) rushing in a rock solid career.  His closing comment in retirement…’Understand-my health-will be my wealth’.
