It’s off season in the NFL, but it is never really the off season for news.

The Draft.  Free Agency.  OTA Workouts.  Trade Rumors.  Injury-Rehabs. Training Camps.

And this week, the release of the 2026-schedule.  

The team schedules will be released on Thursday.

The International schedule is already out, and the odd part is that the 49ers will play abroad twice this year, in Mexico City against the Vikings, and the season opener in Melbourne, Australia against the Rams.  Why the Niners would accept those two trips in one year is hard to believe.

A game in Munich, a game in Madrid are add ons.  The multiple games for the Jaguars in London are part of the league expansion to Europe, while reducing the Jaguars home schedule yearly continues.

And as a prelude to Thursday, here’s the strength of schedule, from toughest to easiest for the teams.
