He created TNT and TMC-buying up the MGM movie inventory

He built the Cartoon Network

He bought the Atlanta Braves and won a World Series.

He purchased the Atlanta Hawks preventing the NBA from moving the team

He saved the NHL-Atlanta Thrashers though they wound up moving to Winnipeg.

He conquered the America’s Cup with Courageous.

He founded the Goodwill Games

He signed baseball’s first big free agent Andy Messersmith

He warred with Commissioner Bowie Kuhn.
